The room
A barber shop is a simple machine.
Light that shows hair as it actually is. A mirror in front and another held up behind. A counter within arm's reach, so the clippers, the shears and the brush never have to leave the hand for long. Everything in the room exists to keep a pair of eyes on the shape of a head.
